Zuliya Khawaja, also known as Naturally Zuzu on Instagram, is a plant-based chef out of San Diego. In addition to being a chef, a mom of two, and the winner of Top Chef Amateurs, she is also a Zumba and Bollywood instructor at our very own Bay Club Carmel Valley! We are so happy to have her as a part of the Bay Club family.
On the latest Marissa Tries, Marissa and Zuliya met up to make three meals designed for one to two people. It’s excellent inspiration to get that healthy meal planning you have been wanting to start doing as part of your wellness journey.
For breakfast, under Zuliya’s instruction, the two prepared a heart-healthy chia seed pudding. Next, for lunch they prepared a high protein salad conveniently made in Mason jars. (Perfect for on-the-go!) Then, dinner was a healthy, homemade instant ramen.
These meals are not only beautiful, but they provide healthy ingredients with some great flavor and variety. They also can all be kept in the fridge and last up to a week.
