Happy 2022!
A new year represents a reset or a start to a new season in our lives. It allows us time to pause, reflect, and celebrate our past successes. A new year is also a time to look forward and be more intentional in our journey for continued growth.
As we reflect on our Diversity and Inclusion efforts, we are proud to celebrate the personal and professional growth associates have achieved through their courage and commitment to fostering a welcoming workplace for all. One way we have done this is through our Education Series, led by the Diversity Task Force.
The Bay Club Education Series was created to share resources and tools on important topics related to Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, while also providing a space to have a dialogue about them. Since its inception in October of 2020, our associate engagement has increased month after month. In 2022, our priority and focus is to continue to create opportunities for more associates to benefit from this valuable initiative.
We are committed to ensuring that participation in the Education Series is a meaningful experience. Additionally, we want all associates to be afforded the time and space necessary to really dive into the learning and get a deeper understanding of the series content. As such, we will be transitioning to a new quarterly focus and launching the 2022 Education Series in February*.
Here is what you can expect to see with the reboot of the Diversity and Inclusion Education Series:
• Quarterly Focus with Sub-Topics such as Cultural Humility, Code Switching, Ageism, & Microaggressions
• Guest Speakers
• Quarterly Coffee Chats
• Fun Quizzes
• Quarterly Prize Drawings and more!
We are very excited to evolve this educational opportunity and look forward to continuing this journey of learning and growing together. Additional details will be shared in the weeks to come.
