The Bay Club is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, where all associates feel supported and valued. As part of this commitment, we are actively working to understand how unconscious biases may influence our actions at work, as well as finding strategies to minimize their impact. With that, we invite you to participate in this month’s Education Series on Microaggressions. Microaggressions are subtle yet offensive comments or actions, whether intentional or not, that are rooted in stereotypes and directed at marginalized groups in routine social or professional settings.
Our coffee chats will provide a safe space to unpack our intent vs. impact, how to minimize the occurrences of microaggressions, and how to respond when committing or confronted by them. You can find everything you need for this month’s Education Series by clicking the links below:
- Education Series Resources + Microaggressions Quiz – Participation in the Education Series is entirely voluntary; however, all Associates who review the educational resources and complete the quiz will be entered to win a Bay Club L. - Coffee Chat Schedule – All associates are invited to join us from Dec 15, 2021 – Dec 22, 2021, as Task Force members will be hosting “Coffee Chats” to discuss the topic of Microaggressions. We would love for all our associates to use their voices, be part of the discussion, and join us on the journey of learning and growing together.
