The Bay Club is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, where all associates feel supported and valued. This month, we are talking about Communication Barriers. This series aims to explore ways we can overcome communication barriers that sometimes limit us from connecting with others while also learning to engage in more effective communication. Becoming a more effective and compassionate communicator is an essential step towards being a better ally, team member, and human being.
All associates are invited to join us May 19, 2021 – May 27, 2021, as Task Force members will be hosting “Coffee Chats” to discuss the topic of Communication Barriers. Participation in the Education Series is entirely voluntary, and we would love for all our associates to use their voices, be part of the discussion, and join us on the journey of learning and growing together.

Associates have an additional opportunity to learn more about how we can all work together to foster positive relationships within our clubs and communities through online training courses on Inclusion & Belonging and Unconscious Bias via Emtrain, our Learning Management System. Associates will be paid if they choose to complete the online training courses.
For more information on how you can join the conversation, contact your Diversity Task Force team or your department head for more details!

Always fun to join a different club’s coffee chat. L.A. welcomed me back and what a great group of thoughtful associates.
